The conference, which will be held on the December 6, 2024 to Bologna, represents an opportunity to deepen the organizational model of the Week Surgeryborn to respond to the objectives of the reorganization of the hospital, the reduction of waiting lists, and integration with the medicine territorial.
The Week Surgery, successfully started ten years ago at the Hospital of Budrio, has established itself as a suitable model for the efficiency, quality and safety, by accepting different modes of shelter and providing optimal treatment for surgical pathologies as complex as the incisional hernias. Will be processed for technical issues such as preabilitazione, management and surgery (open, laparoscopic, and robotic), with the contribution of national experts.
There will be the Honorary President Domenico Marrano and the President Vincenzo Maria Greco.

The educational Project of the National School of Surgery of Hernia and Abdominal Wall to the Year 2024 will be divided in 4 different times with 4 Training Events separate.
Will be 4 additional events between them, where the subjects are only partly overlapping.
The First Step National School Surgery of Hernia and Abdominal Wall. directed and open to the Assistant in Training (Residents, fellows, and Surgeons, Specialists and non-Specialists. This year will be held in Naples, italy, from 8 to 10 April 2024.
Second Step Advanced minimally Invasive Surgery of the Abdominal Wall. Directed and open to Surgeons, Specialists or Assistants-in-Training (Residents), provided they have already taken the first step of the National School. It will be held in Baggiovara from Tuesday 6 may-Thursday 9 May.
Third Step Masterclass on the Abdomen Complex with Cadaver Lab. Addressed to Surgeons, Specialists or Assistants in Training, the latter who have already attended the first step of the National School, and who have already attended at least I step. Date and Place to be determined (the SECOND half of 2024)

At the conclusion of the course, the Questionnaire ECM and Certificate of Participation will be available online by going to our platform https://formazione.mitcongressi.it/ in the section “my courses” of one's own reserved area. For the purposes of the acquisition of the credits is ESSENTIAL to the effective presence at 90% of the total duration of the work and the achievement of at least 75% of the correct answers to the questionnaire for assessment of learning. Filling in the questionnaire will be entitled to credit ONLY if it is associated with the verification of the actual presence at the event and to the compilation context of the questionnaire of satisfaction with the course. The deadline for the completion of the assessment questionnaire ECM and the questionnaire of satisfaction with the course is scheduled within 72 hours from the end of the course.
